Haven

In the darkness, I feel you

Holding me

arms wrapped

Around my waist.

Your head gently resting on

My shoulder.

Eyes clamped closed,

The warmth of your breath

Against my bare neck.

helldogs are unable

Nip at my toes.

Sinking like an anchor

Deeper and deeper

Into the mattress

Into the depths of the

Black sea.
